YALAMANCHILI has been ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certified since December 2006. The organization had previously adopted and implemented the information security controls specified in the BS 7799 standard, later revised and released as the ISO 27001 standard. YALAMANCHILI successfully completed recertification in October 2009.
In order to establish and maintain the requirements of ISO 27001 in all YALAMANCHILI activities, the organization adopted and documented an information security management system based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) process. For risk assessment, the organization created a process based on the OCTAVE methodology.
